“There’s something real here.” Sevan Melikyan
Nothing’s more beautiful than a leap of faith that works out for the believer. Especially if that leap comes together against the odds and at the last minute.
A few months back circumstance required the funky High Falls gallery to relocate its space. At the same time, Wired Gallery curator and owner Sevan Melikyan had already lined up artists and a November opening date for a group show. He could have taken the cautious route and rescheduled or canceled, but even though his gallery was on the verge homelessness, the show must go on. As luck would have it, the final artist to join the show, Kaete Britton was looking for a tenant to fill commercial space below her High Falls studio. Suddenly a logical solution to an otherwise stressful situation presented itself and the group show opening of the new Wired Gallery space was a hit!
